Íngel Lerma was born in León, Guanajuato, México. He attended UCLA, where he earned a B.A. in Spanish Literature and a Master’s Degree in Latin American Studies. Subsequently, he attended California State University, Northridge where he received a Master’s Degree in School Administration. He has held several administrative positions, including intervention coordinator for under-performing students and has worked with students with special education needs. Currently he is working as a dean of discipline at El Camino Real Charter High School in Woodland Hills, California.
